What was the highlight of Hotel Maritza Puerto Viejo
Wonderful stay in Puerto Viejo
The location was very good; it was close to the beach. The room was clean and the personnel was very helpful and kind. We had a tour in the morning and would be back around check-out time. The staff told us to leave our luggage in the room and that we could freshen up before continuing our journey. The breakfast was at a different location where also locals come. It was a great restaurant and the breakfast was delicious.

Pleasant and beautiful stay.
Location of the hotel is great. 1-2 minutes walk from the beach and really close to restaurants, bars and the beach. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was a cockroach issue in the property. It's understandable after such heavy rain and since the property is on the ground floor, but maybe it could be somehow tackled.

Very comfortable
The room was spacious and had great air conditioning. Loved the addition of a refrigerator so we would have some snacks. There was a lovely hammock outside the room to relax on. Breakfast in Panpay was included which had 3 choices which we were very happy with.

Best hotel on the Caribbean side!
We liked everything about this place. The location is the best, you can hear and see the ocean from your room. The food was great, the staff were amazing and the room was super clean and had everything we needed. There was a common kitchen outside which we didn't need but overall this is the best hotel we've stayed at in a long time. Would definitely go back anytime I have the chance.
